Check In

Please arrive for your cruise at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Please note that boarding for all cruises closes 10 minutes prior to cruise departure. 

WA Steamship Company advises all passengers to pre-book tickets. We cannot guarantee passengers will be able to book if they walk up on the day as the cruise may be fully booked.

Operating Conditions

A minimum number of passengers may be required to ensure departure. We reserve the right to cancel cruises for this reason at any time with a full refund payable. 

We reserve the right to alter schedules, prices, and substitute one vessel for another if considered necessary and without notice. 

All images used in printed material and on this website are used for representation only and may not be exact to cruise departing. 

Cruise route is subject to change depending on weather and/or water conditions. If conditions are not favourable to cruising Decoy may proceed with the scheduled events without leaving the dock.

Mobility Access

Please note that mobility access is unfortunately limited on the Decoy due to the age and design of the boat. Please contact our Team for more information. 

WA Steamship Company staff are not permitted to assist with lifting wheelchairs or passengers due to Occupational Health & Safety legislation.

Responsible Service

WA Steamship Company aims to provide responsible service and a safe secure environment for both patrons and employees.

WA Steamship Company abides by the Liquor Act, the Gaming Act, and other statutory requirements. PS Decoy is licensed therefore, no BYO is permitted.

Paddle Steamer decoy operates under a Liquor License that prohibits drunk persons from entering or remaining on the premises. By law passengers must be refused entry if they are intoxicated, abusive or threatening towards any of the employees or passengers. WA Steamship Company is not responsible if passengers are refused entry to a third-party venue.

Entry refusal may include the return journey back to the departure point. No refunds will be given for any passengers that fail to maintain appropriate behaviour. WA Steamship Company patrons are required to dress in a smart/casual manner and to wear footwear whilst on board. At all times, directions from the crew of the vessel must be obeyed and refusal to do so may result in being removed from the vessel at the nearest jetty.

Food

All food items are prepared in a kitchen that processes dairy, gluten, nuts, and shellfish. No guarantees can be given against cross contamination. We strongly recommend that customers concerned about food allergies bring any necessary medication with them onboard. Food and drink menus are subject to change at any time.

Itinerary Amendments

Amendments may be made by WA Steamship Company in the event of situations outside of our control such as but not limited to high tides, river conditions, weather, forces of nature, pandemics etc. as well as operational issues, such as but not limited to, staff shortages etc.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation of the vessel is to be fully complete within 30 minutes of the end of the cruise.

Cancellation Policy

All ticket sales to Special Events are final and are non refundable.
